We offer the shipping through
Continental Airlines Quick Pack Pet Safe. Continental will fly pets with no temperature embargos through the Pet Safe
Program. On occasion we will ship Delta Airlines weather permitting.
Please call us for shipping fees
as they change quite frequently and vary between airlines.
We reserve the right to ship all our babies in the safest
manner possible and may refuse to ship at an unsafe time or with an unsafe company.
Insurance
is available with Continental Airlines but does require a health certificate from a Veterinarian at an additional cost.
There is also a pet carrier fee of $25 when shipping. This carrier is airline approved and will be yours to keep.
Deposits
We request deposits be one half the cost of the bird. There is a non-refundable
$100 deposit fee. This is a fee to replace costs incurred by reserving your bird. The policy is put in place
to assure fees for advertising and feeding costs are not lost due to the buyer backing out of the sale. The difference
in the deposit will be returned.
Boarding Fees
There will be a $10 per
day boarding fee incurred, if for any reason, the buyer does not take delivery of the bird on the designated delivery date.
This daily fee is not charged to the buyer should the reason for late delivery be due to any delay of delivery by Grey
Feather Aviary or if arrangements have previously been made with Grey Feather Aviary for delay of delivery.
We
do not board birds other than for this reason.
